ReCreate Chunky is a blended yarn made entirely from recycled, upcycled and reused fibres.
ReCreate chunky is a blended yarn that is 40% wool from recycled garments, 30% acrylic, also from garments that have been recycled and 30% polyester that comes from plastic bottles that have been shredded and then spun.
The yarn lends itself to beautiful stitch definition with strong cabling, lace detail and texture stitches all featured in the designs. Garments are relaxed yet stylish and include classic cardigans, trendy tank tops and long line tunics.
Average number of balls needed to knit a 36/38″ garment is approx 8.
